DIY Top and skirt

Another day, another DIY. I love YouTube.  There are certainly a lot of easy to follow sewing instructions. Here's my most recent DIY project.

Black and white

I'm feeling sexy in this ensemble - black top paired with a black and white skirt and finished off with a gold clutch and peep-toe heels.

Rain, rain go away!

A little drizzle hasn't deter me from showcasing this girly-girl number - orange top with a patterned skirt accentuated by a brown belt, yellow cardigan and a purse necklace.

 

Cozy in winter

Winter 101: nothing like a stylish cozy jacket to keep you warm during the winter days. Here I paired the black and  gray jacket with black skinny jeans and dark brown knee-high boots. I finished the look with a cute tuk/beanie

Kimono

I bought this kimono on a whim from a shop called "Cotton on" for $10 NZD. I love the colors and the print on it. However, I wasn't too sure  in terms of styling it. Luckily, I am on instagram and I follow a number of fashionable ladies. One of them is "prettycuteandquirky" and she featured a kimono that was similar to mine. She certainly inspired me on this one.

Color blocking

I'm a typical Filipina so I love bright and bold colours that scream summer, holiday and fun! I love the play of colour in this ensemble. Hot pink top paired with a purple miniskirt and for accessories, I wore a green necklace and matching bracelet.

These are my favourite coral heels. To be honest, they're not the most comfortable shoes but they are so gorgeous, I find it difficult to part with them. Oh well, all in the name of fashion! Lol!

Stripes alert!

I had so much fun during this photo shoot. I love the simplicity of this look. It's casual but uber cool!

Tip #1 Here's three ways of wearing this ensemble - 1. scarf around the neck OR 2. scarf as a headgear OR 3.wear with a white blazer.

 

Tip #2 You don't have to wear a scarf around your neck. It can also work very well as a head gear.

Tip #3 Add a blazer and a cheesecutter hat to amp the cool factor

 

Tip#4 Finish the look with a cute crossbody bag and multiple bangles.
